DutyProof is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps importers and customs brokers assemble, validate, and retain the documentation needed to defend tariff classifications, country-of-origin claims, and valuation during audits. It creates a “shipment evidence packet” by pulling invoices, packing lists, product specs, supplier declarations, and prior rulings into one structured record. An AI layer flags missing fields, inconsistent descriptions, and risky HS code changes versus historical patterns, but it does not “auto-classify” as a black box. The goal is to reduce penalties, delays, and expensive broker back-and-forth by making compliance evidence searchable and standardized. Realistically, this wins only if it integrates cleanly with existing workflows (email, shared drives, ERP exports) and focuses on being the system of record for audit defense rather than trying to replace brokers or government systems.
