DutyRoster

DutyRoster is a web + mobile scheduling app built for military units that still juggle duty rosters in spreadsheets, chat threads, and whiteboards. It creates a single source of truth for guard duty, CQ/SD, watch bills, training coverage, and short-notice taskings. Leaders can publish rosters with rule-based constraints (rest windows, qualifications, rank/role requirements, max consecutive shifts) and automatically flag conflicts before they become incidents. Soldiers get a simple mobile view of upcoming duties, swap/request coverage with approvals, and receive audit-friendly notifications. The app supports offline-first mobile access for limited connectivity environments and exports to common formats for legacy reporting. This is a traditional app with light AI assistance for conflict detection and suggestion of optimal swaps, not a “magic” AI scheduler that ignores real-world command policies.
