EarGym
EarGym is a mobile + web AI-assisted hearing-and-sound training app that helps people improve real-world listening skills: speech-in-noise, sound localization, and frequency discrimination. Unlike generic “hearing tests,” it focuses on practical drills that adapt to your environment and your headphones. Users take a quick calibration (device + volume + ambient noise), then complete 5–10 minute sessions: distinguishing similar consonants, tracking a voice in café noise, identifying direction cues with spatial audio, and spotting early signs of listening fatigue. Progress is shown as simple scores tied to everyday outcomes (e.g., “better in meetings” or “less TV volume”). It’s not a medical device and doesn’t claim to treat hearing loss; it’s training, like a brain/ear workout. Monetization is subscription with a free tier, plus a one-time “pro calibration” add-on for power users.
