EarMatch

EarMatch is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that helps people choose in-ear headphones/earbuds based on real ear fit, comfort, and seal quality—not just sound reviews. Users take a short guided photo/video of their ear; the app estimates key ear geometry (concha size, canal angle indicators) and recommends earbud models and tip sizes with a confidence score. It also includes a quick “seal test” using phone microphones to detect leakage during a tone sweep, then suggests tip material (foam/silicone), size, and insertion depth. Brands and reviewers rarely address fit systematically, and returns are expensive and annoying. EarMatch aims to reduce bad purchases and improve noise isolation and bass response by getting fit right. Monetization: affiliate links, a small subscription for advanced fit profiles, and optional tip-kit sales. Realistically, accuracy won’t be perfect at first, so the app focuses on probability-based guidance and post-purchase optimization.
