EchoMapper

EchoMapper is a desktop + mobile companion app that turns a quick phone room scan into a usable spatial audio “room preset” for game, VR, and film sound. You walk around a space with your phone for 60–90 seconds; the app estimates room dimensions, surface types, and major reflectors, then exports impulse responses and reverb parameters compatible with common audio engines and DAWs. It’s not magic: it won’t perfectly model complex acoustics, but it can get creators 70–85% of the way to believable room sound in minutes, without renting measurement mics or learning acoustics. The desktop app manages projects, batch exports, and plugin/engine presets; the mobile app focuses on capture. Pricing targets prosumers and small studios that need speed and consistency more than lab-grade accuracy.
