EcoLoopLab

EcoLoopLab is a web + mobile app that helps communities and sustainability teams understand “feedback in nature” using real local signals: temperature, rainfall, vegetation health, air quality, and water levels. It pulls open datasets and optional low-cost sensor feeds, then visualizes simple causal loop diagrams (e.g., heat → drought stress → vegetation loss → more heat) and highlights which variables are amplifying vs stabilizing. The AI component suggests plausible loop structures and flags weak evidence so users don’t mistake correlation for causation. Users can run lightweight “what-if” scenarios (e.g., tree canopy increase, permeable pavement) and track whether real-world data is moving in the expected direction over time. This is not a scientific modeling suite; it’s a practical, explainable feedback-loop dashboard that makes ecological dynamics legible for non-experts and helps prioritize interventions with measurable signals.
