EcosMapr

EcosMapr is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for economic development teams to build a living map of a regional industry cluster: firms, suppliers, talent pipelines, R&D assets, capital sources, and support programs. Users can import business lists, tag relationships (buyer/supplier, hiring, research, referrals), and visualize weak links like missing suppliers, skills shortages, or over-reliance on a single anchor employer. The app generates a “gap-to-action” backlog: which partners to convene, which training programs to launch, and which incentives are likely to move the needle. It also tracks interventions over time (events, grants, partnerships) and ties them to measurable outcomes (new suppliers onboarded, jobs posted, internships filled). It’s realistic: it won’t magically predict growth, but it will stop teams from managing ecosystems in spreadsheets and slide decks.
