EDFlowBoard
EDFlowBoard is a web + mobile app that gives hospitals and EMS a shared, real-time view of emergency department capacity and constraints: bed availability by zone, CT downtime, stroke/trauma readiness, psych hold backlog, and diversion status with reason codes. Charge nurses update a few structured fields in under 30 seconds; EMS sees a simple “best destination” list based on travel time and current bottlenecks. The app logs timestamps for arrivals, triage start, provider first contact, and admission decision to expose throughput issues without requiring a full EHR replacement. It includes lightweight incident-mode templates for mass casualty events and a basic API to pull ADT signals when available. This is a traditional app with optional AI components (forecasting near-term crowding and suggesting staffing/bed moves), but it still works if AI is turned off.
