EdgeAudit

EdgeAudit is a web app (with an optional lightweight edge agent) that continuously verifies configuration and security compliance across distributed edge nodes—retail stores, factories, clinics, and remote kiosks. Instead of relying on periodic manual audits and spreadsheets, it collects signed evidence: OS/kernel versions, container images, firewall rules, device certificates, disk encryption status, and critical service health. It then maps that evidence to policy templates (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA-aligned controls) and produces auditor-ready reports with immutable logs. The goal is not “perfect security,” but reducing the real operational pain: unknown drift, inconsistent hardening, and expensive site visits. It integrates with common edge stacks (K3s, Docker, Azure IoT Edge) and can run in bandwidth-poor environments by batching telemetry. Expect some setup friction—edge environments are messy—but once deployed it saves time, reduces audit panic, and catches drift early.
