EdgeBudget is a web app that continuously audits your CDN and delivery spend and performance, then recommends concrete, low-risk changes to cut costs. It connects to providers like Cloudflare, Fastly, and Akamai to pull usage, cache hit ratios, egress, and request patterns. The app flags expensive routes (e.g., low cacheability endpoints, oversized assets, mis-set TTLs, missing compression, origin shield misconfigurations) and produces a prioritized “savings plan” with estimated dollar impact and blast-radius notes. It also watches for sudden cost anomalies (bot spikes, hotlinking, misconfigured cache keys) and can auto-apply guardrails like rate limits or cache rules after approval. This is not a magic “save 80%” tool; it’s a pragmatic ops assistant that finds the boring, repeatable waste most teams overlook, and documents changes so you can justify them internally.
