EdgeCanary

EdgeCanary is a web app that continuously validates your serverless and edge deployments from real regions, not just synthetic unit tests. You define “canary journeys” (HTTP checks, auth flows, cache behavior, cold-start thresholds, and latency SLOs) and it runs them on a schedule from multiple edge locations, then correlates failures with deploys, config changes, and provider incidents. It focuses on the annoying, expensive problems teams actually face: intermittent 5xx at the edge, misconfigured headers breaking caching, region-specific TLS/DNS issues, and performance regressions that only show up under real routing. Alerts are actionable: it tells you what changed, where it’s failing, and provides a minimal reproduction request. This is not a full observability platform; it’s a narrow, opinionated “edge release safety net” that plugs into existing stacks and catches issues that traditional APM often misses or surfaces too late.
