EdgePatch
EdgePatch is a web app plus lightweight edge agent that safely rolls out OS, container, and firmware updates to fleets of edge devices (factories, retail stores, kiosks, cameras, gateways) with unreliable connectivity. It focuses on the ugly reality: devices go offline, power cycles happen, and one bad update can take down a site. The platform provides staged rollouts, automatic health checks, and instant rollback using A/B partitions or container image pinning. It also supports bandwidth-aware distribution (local caching at each site) and “maintenance windows” so updates don’t interrupt operations. You get a single inventory view, compliance reporting (who is patched, who isn’t), and alerting when devices drift from the approved baseline. This is not a generic MDM; it’s built for Linux-based edge boxes and industrial gateways where uptime matters more than fancy dashboards.
