EdgePing is a lightweight branch-to-cloud bandwidth and latency verifier built for IT teams who are tired of vendor dashboards that look fine while users suffer. You deploy a tiny agent on a router-adjacent box (or a VM) and run scheduled, repeatable tests to your real SaaS endpoints (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Salesforce, custom URLs) plus your own datacenters. It measures latency, jitter, packet loss, DNS/TLS handshake time, and sustained throughput, then produces an “evidence bundle” (graphs + raw data + test config) you can hand to an ISP or SD-WAN provider. The product is intentionally narrow: reliable testing, clean baselines, and defensible reporting—not a full NMS. It includes alerting when performance deviates from baseline and a simple change log to correlate issues with circuit/provider changes. Expect pushback from incumbents; win by being simpler and more credible.
