EdgeProof is a mobile app that helps skiers and snowboarders diagnose edge and base issues before they ruin a day. Users take a short guided video of their skis/board (edge close-ups, base glide test, and a quick “feel” checklist), and the app outputs a practical tune recommendation: edge angle targets, detune zones, wax temp range, and whether a shop visit is actually necessary. It also tracks days ridden, snow conditions, and last tune so you don’t overpay for unnecessary work. The AI component is limited and realistic: it flags visible burrs, rust, and edge damage patterns, but it won’t pretend to be a perfect “virtual tech.” Monetization is a freemium model with paid tune plans, condition-based reminders, and optional partnerships with local shops for booking.
