EdgePulse

EdgePulse is a web + desktop app for engineering teams that need to reduce real-world latency across APIs and edge delivery. It runs lightweight synthetic probes from multiple regions (and optionally customer-like networks) and correlates results with your CDN, DNS, and origin metrics to pinpoint where time is being lost: TLS handshake, DNS resolution, routing, server queueing, or third-party dependencies. The product focuses on actionable fixes, not dashboards: it suggests concrete configuration changes (e.g., HTTP/3 enablement, cache key simplification, connection reuse, regional failover thresholds) and verifies improvements with before/after experiments. It also flags regressions automatically after deploys and can open a ticket with the exact trace and suspected culprit. Realistically, it won’t replace full observability suites; it’s a narrower “latency detective” that teams can adopt without months of instrumentation work.
