EdgeReplay

EdgeReplay is a web app plus lightweight edge agent that captures minimal, privacy-safe “execution traces” from edge workloads (request headers you allow, timing, resource stats, config hashes, and deterministic event logs). It then lets engineers replay the same sequence in a sandbox that mirrors the edge node’s runtime, dependencies, and network conditions. The goal is to cut days of “can’t reproduce” debugging for edge deployments across retail, factories, and remote sites. It supports offline-first capture with delayed upload, redaction rules, and per-site policies so you don’t accidentally exfiltrate sensitive data. Realistically, this won’t fix bad code quality or missing observability, but it can drastically reduce mean time to reproduce and isolate issues when edge nodes are flaky, intermittently connected, or running slightly different configs. It’s a traditional app with AI-assisted diagnostics (optional) to cluster similar trace patterns and suggest likely root causes.
