EdgeReplay

EdgeReplay is a web + desktop app that captures, packages, and replays “edge incident snapshots” so engineers can reproduce bugs that only happen on remote gateways, kiosks, or factory PCs. It records container versions, configs, environment variables, OS/kernel details, device metrics, and a short rolling window of logs/events, then generates a deterministic replay bundle that can be run locally or in a sandbox VM. An AI assistant summarizes the incident, highlights likely regressions, and proposes a minimal repro script and rollback plan. This is not a full edge management platform; it’s a focused debugging tool that reduces time wasted on “can’t reproduce” tickets. Realistically, adoption hinges on low overhead and strong security controls, because edge customers are paranoid about data exfiltration. Pricing fits mid-market industrial/retail teams that can’t afford weeks of downtime but also won’t buy heavyweight suites.
