EdgeSentry

EdgeSentry is a web app (with a lightweight CLI) that continuously audits and monitors your CDN/edge configuration across providers like Cloudflare, Fastly, and Akamai. It detects risky cache rules, broken purge paths, accidental public caching of private content, missing security headers, stale asset behavior, origin exposure, and performance regressions caused by config drift. Instead of generic uptime checks, it runs synthetic requests that mimic real client behavior (cookies, auth headers, geo, device) and validates expected cache status, headers, TTLs, and WAF outcomes. It also tracks config changes via API snapshots and flags “dangerous diffs” with clear, actionable remediation steps. This is not a replacement for your CDN—it’s a guardrail that prevents expensive incidents (leaks, outages, SEO damage) caused by small edge mistakes. AI is used to explain findings and propose safe rule changes, but the core value is deterministic testing and diffing.
