EdgeSentry

EdgeSentry is an Edge AI app that detects abnormal behavior on industrial equipment using on-device sensor streams (vibration, audio, temperature, current). It runs inference locally on a gateway (Jetson/Raspberry Pi-class) so plants get instant alerts even with poor connectivity and without shipping sensitive data to the cloud. The product includes a lightweight desktop/web console to deploy models, manage devices, and review incidents, plus a mobile companion for push notifications and guided triage steps. The MVP focuses on “good enough” anomaly detection rather than perfect fault classification: learn a baseline per machine, flag deviations, and capture short pre/post event windows for later review. This is realistic because many facilities can’t justify full predictive maintenance suites, but they will pay for fewer unplanned stoppages and faster response times. Expect messy installs, noisy sensors, and long sales cycles—so pricing and onboarding must be simple.
