EdgeSentry

EdgeSentry is a web app (with an optional lightweight agent) that monitors and troubleshoots distributed edge infrastructure across retail stores, factories, kiosks, and micro-data-centers. It focuses on the boring, expensive reality: devices go offline, disks fill up, clocks drift, certificates expire, and networks flap—then someone gets paged with zero context. EdgeSentry collects a small set of high-signal telemetry (connectivity, disk, CPU/mem pressure, time sync, cert validity, container runtime health) and turns it into actionable incident cards with probable cause and a step-by-step runbook. It also includes “last-known-good” snapshots of key configs and a remote command sandbox with strict auditing, so ops teams can fix issues without risky full remote desktop access. This is not a full observability platform; it’s a pragmatic edge reliability layer that integrates with what teams already use.
