EdgeTripLog is a web + desktop app for autonomous vehicle operators and AV dev teams to automatically capture, index, and retrieve “trip evidence” across fleets: sensor snippets, autonomy stack events, disengagements, safety driver inputs, and key vehicle telemetry. Instead of digging through massive ROS bag files and scattered logs, teams get a searchable timeline with synchronized video/LiDAR thumbnails, event markers, and a one-click export package for regulators, insurers, or internal incident review. It runs an on-vehicle lightweight collector that uploads only relevant segments (triggered by hard braking, near-collision, disengagement, geofence entry, or custom rules) to reduce bandwidth and storage costs. The product is realistic because it doesn’t try to drive the car; it helps teams explain and audit what happened. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI assists with event summarization, anomaly clustering, and natural-language search over logs.
