eDNA Scout
eDNA Scout is a mobile + web AI-assisted app that helps environmental consultants and land managers track biodiversity using environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling workflows. The app guides users through standardized sample collection (water/soil), chain-of-custody, geotagging, and lab submission, then turns lab results into plain-language insights: species presence flags (including invasives and protected species), confidence levels, and compliance-ready reports. It also maintains a site history so teams can compare before/after restoration work or construction impacts. This is not a “magic sensor”—it relies on partner labs for sequencing—but it removes the messy operational overhead that makes eDNA programs fail (bad metadata, poor QA, lost samples, inconsistent reporting). The MVP focuses on workflow, QA, and reporting rather than trying to build a new lab or invent novel detection algorithms from scratch.
