EgressRadar

EgressRadar is a web app (with optional CLI) that pinpoints where cloud egress and cross-zone/region transfer charges are coming from and how to reduce them without breaking production. It ingests billing exports and flow/log data to map “who talks to whom,” then highlights the top cost paths (NAT gateways, cross-AZ traffic, inter-region replication, CDN misconfigs, chatty microservices). It generates prioritized recommendations with estimated savings, blast-radius notes, and step-by-step change plans (e.g., VPC endpoints vs NAT, AZ pinning, cache headers, regionalization, compression). It also sets guardrails: alerts when egress spikes, budgets per service/team, and weekly “cost diff” reports tied to deployments. This is a combination traditional + AI app: deterministic cost math plus AI to summarize root causes and propose safe remediation playbooks.
