EgressReady helps property managers and safety officers map, audit, and continuously maintain building evacuation readiness. The app guides a user through a floor-by-floor walkthrough to capture exit routes, door swing direction, stairwell access, emergency lighting, signage visibility, and common obstructions (storage in corridors, blocked fire doors). It generates a simple, shareable “egress score” and a prioritized fix list tied to photos, timestamps, and responsible parties. Tenants can submit lightweight reports (e.g., blocked stairwell) without learning code requirements. For larger sites, the web dashboard tracks recurring issues, assigns tasks to maintenance vendors, and stores inspection history for insurance and internal compliance. This is not a replacement for life-safety engineering; it’s a practical operational tool that reduces the gap between annual inspections and day-to-day reality.
