ElderPing

ElderPing is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps families confirm an older relative is okay without constant calling or invasive tracking. It sends a scheduled “Ping” at agreed times; the person taps one button to confirm they’re fine, or can reply with quick preset statuses like “Need a ride” or “Not feeling well.” If there’s no response, the app escalates in a configurable ladder: second ping, then a designated family member, then a neighbor/caregiver, and optionally a non-emergency service number. It also supports “silent check-ins” via optional device signals (battery level drop, last phone unlock) but only with explicit consent and clear visibility into what’s shared. The goal is fewer anxious calls, faster response when something is wrong, and less guilt-driven micromanagement. Monetization is a simple subscription per family, not per senior.
