EmbargoRadar is a web app (with optional Slack integration) for journalists, editors, and comms teams who need to monitor how stories evolve after publication. It continuously snapshots articles from selected outlets, detects meaningful changes (headline swaps, added paragraphs, removed claims, updated numbers, correction notes), and produces a clean diff timeline with citations and timestamps. Users can set alerts for specific topics, people, companies, or URLs, and export an audit trail for internal review or legal/compliance needs. This is an AI app plus traditional crawling: AI helps classify the significance of changes and summarize what materially changed, while deterministic hashing and DOM parsing ensure reliable tracking. The product is not glamorous, but it’s practical: it reduces the manual, error-prone work of checking whether a story was quietly updated and what that means for follow-up reporting or reputational response.
