EmojiGloss

EmojiGloss is a mobile + web AI app that helps people avoid misunderstandings caused by emoji and visual shorthand. Users paste a message (or select emojis) and choose the audience context (country/region, age range, workplace vs friends, relationship type). The app returns likely interpretations, risk flags (e.g., “could read as flirting,” “sarcastic,” “passive-aggressive”), and safer alternatives with the same intent. It also offers a “tone lock” mode: you type what you mean in plain language and it suggests emoji/visual additions that match the intent without accidental subtext. A lightweight keyboard extension lets users long-press an emoji to see quick context notes before sending. This is not a novelty emoji pack; it’s a pragmatic communication safety tool for people who message across generations, cultures, and professional settings.
