EncoreSeat

EncoreSeat is a mobile + web app that aggregates last-minute opera and classical concert tickets and turns them into a simple, reliable “tonight” feed. It pulls inventory from partner venues plus authorized resale sources, then filters by price, sightline quality, start time, language, and accessibility needs. Users can set rules like “under $60, within 5 miles, no obstructed view” and get push alerts when matching seats appear. The app also includes a lightweight event primer (cast, synopsis, runtime, dress code, late-seating policy) so newcomers don’t feel lost. Revenue comes from affiliate/partner commissions, optional membership for early alerts, and venue marketing placements. This is not glamorous: the hard part is partnerships and inventory quality, but if you can secure a few anchor venues in one city, it becomes a habit-forming utility for spontaneous culture nights.
