EnvoyReplay

EnvoyReplay is a web app (with a lightweight CLI agent) that captures, sanitizes, and replays real production request flows into a staging environment to validate integration behavior end-to-end. Instead of brittle mocks, it records multi-service traces (HTTP/gRPC, headers, payloads, timing) and rebuilds them as deterministic “replay scenarios” you can run on demand or in CI. It includes configurable PII/secret redaction, schema-aware tokenization, and dependency stubbing only where necessary (e.g., payment gateways). Teams can diff outcomes between builds: response bodies, DB mutations, emitted events, and downstream calls, with a failure triage view that points to the first divergent hop in the trace. This is not a magic bullet: you’ll still need good staging parity and careful data governance, but it can drastically cut the time spent chasing integration-only regressions that unit tests miss.
