EquityPulse

EquityPulse is a web app (with optional mobile dashboards) that helps school and district leaders detect and reduce educational inequities using the data they already have. It connects to SIS/LMS exports (attendance, grades, discipline, course access, special education, ELL, gifted, AP/IB enrollment) and produces simple, defensible equity indicators by subgroup, school, and teacher team. It flags “equity drift” (e.g., a sudden rise in chronic absence for a subgroup) and recommends a short list of proven interventions with estimated effort, cost, and expected impact. The app includes a lightweight case-management workflow so counselors and support staff can track outreach, services, and outcomes without turning into a full-blown student information system. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used for anomaly detection, summarizing root-cause hypotheses, and drafting communication templates, but the core value is clean metrics and accountability.
