EquityPulse
EquityPulse is a web + mobile app for public health teams to identify and track “care deserts” and inequities at neighborhood level using practical signals they can actually obtain: clinic capacity, appointment wait times, transit time to care, pharmacy access, broadband availability, and community-reported barriers. The app blends public datasets with lightweight, privacy-conscious community surveys and SMS check-ins to create an Equity Scorecard for each census tract. Users can map hotspots, set alerts when access metrics worsen, and generate board-ready reports for grant applications and budget planning. It’s not a magic fix—data will be messy and some partners won’t share—but it helps agencies move from anecdotes to defensible prioritization. The product is designed for constrained teams: simple onboarding, templated workflows, and exports that match what funders and city councils expect.
