ErrandPledge

ErrandPledge is a mobile + web app for couples and families to plan, assign, and complete acts of service without the usual nagging or ambiguity. Users create a shared “help board” with small, concrete tasks (pick up meds, take the car for service, prep lunches, call the landlord). Each task has a due window, location, and optional proof (photo/receipt) so it’s clear what “done” means. The app supports recurring chores, one-off favors, and “surprise mode” where the requester sets a need and the helper chooses when to fulfill it. A lightweight points system converts completed tasks into agreed rewards (date night pick, chore swap, budgeted treat) to keep motivation real. It also includes a weekly 5-minute check-in that forces prioritization: what matters most this week, and what can be dropped.
