EthicPledge
EthicPledge is a mobile + web app for faith communities and values-driven groups to run concrete social-justice commitments without getting lost in vague statements. Leaders create “pledges” (e.g., fair-wage purchasing, refugee sponsorship, anti-racism training, local bail support) with clear tasks, budgets, and timelines. Members opt in, log actions, donate, and verify progress with lightweight evidence (receipts, volunteer check-ins, partner confirmations). A public-facing transparency page shows what’s been promised versus delivered, helping groups avoid performative activism. The app includes a curated library of ethically vetted partner orgs and templates aligned to different religious traditions’ ethics frameworks (e.g., Catholic social teaching, Jewish tikkun olam, Islamic zakat/sadaqah, Protestant service). This is not a debate platform; it’s an execution and accountability tool. Expect slower adoption in highly politicized environments, but strong retention where leaders want structure and proof of impact.
