EthicsPulpit

EthicsPulpit is a web + mobile AI-assisted bioethics decision-support app for clergy, chaplains, and faith-based clinicians who get urgent questions they’re not fully trained to answer (end-of-life, reproductive tech, organ donation, gene editing, consent, disability ethics). Users enter a scenario, select a tradition/denomination profile, and the app returns a structured brief: key moral principles, relevant scripture/authoritative sources, mainstream positions and minority views, and a list of clarifying questions to ask the patient/family. It also generates a one-page pastoral conversation guide and a documentation note template for chaplaincy records. This is not a “magic answer” machine: it highlights uncertainty, flags when to escalate to an ethics committee, and cites sources with links. The product wins by being practical, time-saving, and defensible under scrutiny, rather than trying to replace human judgment.
