EvacNav
EvacNav is a mobile + web indoor navigation system built specifically for emergency egress in large buildings (hospitals, campuses, factories, arenas). Instead of generic “blue dot” wayfinding, it focuses on getting people out safely when conditions change: blocked corridors, smoke zones, locked doors, elevator shutdowns, or crowding. The building operator uploads floor plans and marks doors, stairs, fire exits, and restricted areas; the app provides turn-by-turn guidance and accessible routes. During an incident, operators can push live closures and hazard zones from a web dashboard, instantly rerouting users. It supports staff mode (trained responders) and visitor mode (simple guidance, multilingual, large text). Be realistic: accuracy depends on infrastructure (BLE beacons/Wi‑Fi RTT) and good building data, so the product must include a deployment playbook and ongoing map maintenance tooling.
