EventPulpit

EventPulpit is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion for promoting and managing church/mosque/temple community events without the chaos of group texts, paper sign-ups, and last-minute volunteer gaps. It focuses on the unglamorous but constant work: attendance forecasting, volunteer coverage, and reminders that actually get read. Organizers create an event, set capacity, roles (ushers, childcare, food, setup), and required training/age rules. Members RSVP in two taps, get calendar integration, and can claim volunteer shifts. The app flags likely shortfalls early (e.g., “childcare ratio risk” or “food servings short”) and suggests targeted outreach lists based on past participation—without creepy tracking. It also supports multi-campus or multi-ministry calendars with approvals, so the main calendar doesn’t become a dumping ground. This is not a donation app; it’s operational event reliability for community life.
