EventVault

EventVault is a mobile + web app that turns messy home security footage into a searchable “incident timeline.” It connects to common cameras/NVRs via RTSP/ONVIF where possible, and otherwise ingests exported clips. Instead of endless scrubbing, it auto-indexes motion events, labels them (person/vehicle/package/animal), and lets you search by time window, zone, and simple keywords like “white car” or “front gate.” When something looks serious, you can generate a shareable incident bundle (clips + timestamps + notes) for neighbors, HOA, or police. Realistically, it won’t replace your camera vendor’s app; it sits on top as the “investigation layer” that most vendors do poorly. Privacy is a selling point: processing can run locally on a small home server/NAS, with optional cloud backup for incident bundles only.
