EvidenceMap
EvidenceMap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps science-policy teams trace how research evidence flows into real policy outputs. It ingests public documents (consultations, committee reports, regulatory impact assessments, parliamentary records) and lets users build an “evidence trail” linking claims to citations, datasets, expert testimony, and funding sources. The AI layer extracts key assertions, identifies cited studies, flags missing citations, and highlights where evidence is outdated or contradicted by newer findings. Users can create dashboards per topic (e.g., air quality, biotech, AI safety) showing which institutions are influencing outcomes, which studies are repeatedly reused, and where uncertainty is being ignored. This is not a magic truth machine: it’s a workflow tool that makes evidence provenance auditable, shareable, and faster to review for busy policy analysts and research offices.
