EvidentRail

EvidentRail is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that helps penetration testers capture, organize, and export proof in a consistent, defensible way. Instead of scattered screenshots, terminal logs, and notes across tools, it creates a time-stamped evidence trail: command output, HTTP requests/responses, file hashes, and screenshots tied to a specific finding and target. The AI component suggests what evidence is missing for common vulnerability classes (e.g., auth bypass, SQLi, SSRF), flags weak or non-reproducible artifacts, and generates a clean “repro steps” draft that a human can edit. It also supports chain-of-custody style exports for regulated clients, reducing back-and-forth after delivery. This is not a scanner; it’s a workflow tool that makes real pentest work easier and more defensible, especially when clients challenge findings or need compliance-ready documentation.
