ExamGuard
ExamGuard is a web app (with an optional lightweight mobile companion) that helps schools run lower-stakes online assessments with fewer integrity issues—without full-on live proctoring. It combines simple lockdown controls (tab/app switching detection, copy/paste limits), randomized question delivery, and post-exam anomaly detection that flags suspicious patterns (impossibly fast answers, answer-change spikes, similarity clusters across students, unusual time-on-question distributions). Teachers get a clear “review queue” instead of raw logs, plus templated incident reports they can edit and export. It integrates with common LMS workflows via LTI so instructors can launch exams and sync rosters/grades with minimal setup. This is not a magic anti-cheat solution; it’s a pragmatic integrity layer for districts and universities that can’t afford or don’t want intrusive webcam proctoring for every quiz.
