ExhibitPulse

ExhibitPulse is a mobile + web analytics app for small and mid-sized museums that want evidence-based exhibit decisions without installing expensive hardware. Visitors scan a QR at the entrance (or per gallery) to get optional audio, captions, and “what to see next” routes; in return, the museum gets aggregated engagement signals: dwell time by gallery, content completion, language needs, and drop-off points. Staff can run quick A/B tests (two label versions, two tour paths) and see which one performs better over a week. It’s not magic: data quality depends on visitor participation and decent Wi‑Fi/cellular coverage. But for museums that currently rely on anecdotal feedback and occasional surveys, it’s a practical step up. Privacy is designed in: no face recognition, no individual tracking, and clear opt-in messaging.
