ExitBrief

ExitBrief is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that captures critical knowledge when employees change roles or leave. It runs a structured “knowledge handoff sprint” with short prompts: key systems, recurring decisions, stakeholder map, common pitfalls, and “if I had one week” priorities. The app records quick screen-and-voice walkthroughs, auto-transcribes them, and generates a concise handoff pack: runbooks, FAQs, and a dependency checklist. It also schedules a 30-minute Q&A session and produces a follow-up action list for the receiving owner. Everything is searchable and permissioned, with export to Confluence/Notion/Google Drive. This is an AI + traditional app: AI accelerates summarization and indexing, but the workflow and accountability are the real product. It’s realistic because it focuses on a narrow, high-stakes moment where teams actually pay attention.
