ExitTerms is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps employees and contractors quickly understand the practical risk of their non-compete, non-solicit, NDA, and invention assignment clauses before they make a career move. Users upload or paste their agreement, answer a short questionnaire (role, geography, industry, planned next job), and receive a plain-English summary with a risk score, red-flag clauses, and a checklist of next steps. It also generates a “questions to ask a lawyer” packet and a clean timeline of obligations (notice periods, return-of-property, confidentiality). This is not a law firm and won’t pretend to replace legal advice; it’s a decision-support tool that reduces confusion and prevents costly mistakes. Monetization: freemium scan + paid detailed report, plus employer/HR outplacement bundles.
