ExoAnesSafe is a mobile + web app that helps veterinarians and techs build safer anesthesia and analgesia plans for exotic species (rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, birds, small mammals) using structured checklists, weight-based calculators, and species-specific risk prompts. It guides users through pre-op assessment (temperature, hydration, fasting appropriateness, airway concerns), monitoring setup, and recovery protocols, then generates a printable/shareable plan for the medical record. It’s not a “magic AI doctor”: it’s a decision-support tool that reduces missed steps and standardizes care in clinics that only see exotics occasionally. Optional AI assists by turning free-text notes into a clean plan and flagging inconsistencies (e.g., unsafe fasting for rabbits, missing heat support). The app also includes quick emergency recovery actions and post-op pain scoring templates tailored to species.
