ExoticCare Logbook

ExoticCare Logbook is a specialized web and mobile app for zoos, small wildlife parks, and serious private exotic keepers to track animal health, husbandry, and compliance without the bloated complexity of full enterprise zoo systems. It focuses on the unglamorous but critical daily grind: feeding logs, medical treatments, enclosure checks, enrichment records, and regulatory documentation. Staff can quickly record observations from their phones, attach photos or lab reports, and flag issues for veterinary review. A lightweight AI layer helps detect worrying patterns (weight loss, appetite changes, recurring symptoms) and suggests follow‑up checks based on species-specific husbandry guidelines. Unlike generic farm or pet tools, it supports mixed collections of reptiles, birds, mammals, and invertebrates, with templates tailored to each group. The goal is not to be a giant institutional platform, but a lean, affordable tool that small and mid-sized facilities can actually adopt and maintain. It will be opinionated, pragmatic, and brutally focused on operational reliability rather than flashy features.
