ExpertRelay

ExpertRelay is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps mid-sized companies quickly locate the best internal subject-matter expert for a question, project, or incident. It builds an “expert graph” by indexing existing work signals—docs, tickets, code repos, runbooks, meeting notes, and Q&A threads—then ranks people by topic depth, recency, and proven outcomes. Users type a question, pick urgency, and the app returns 3–5 candidates with evidence snippets (links to the exact artifacts) and suggested outreach templates. It also supports “office hours” scheduling and lightweight expertise verification (endorsements + artifact-based proof) to reduce noisy self-claimed skills. The AI layer focuses on retrieval, summarization, and matching—not hallucinated expertise—so results stay auditable and trustworthy. Admins get privacy controls, opt-out, and role-based visibility to avoid HR and compliance blowups.
