ExpiryPilot

ExpiryPilot is a mobile + web inventory tool for businesses where spoilage and expiration drive real losses (cafes, bakeries, meal prep, small grocers, clinics with consumables). Staff scan receipts, supplier labels, or barcodes to create lots with expiry dates, then the system continuously prioritizes what to sell/use first (FEFO) and pushes simple daily pick lists. It flags “at-risk” items based on velocity, seasonality, and historical waste, and suggests actions: discount now, bundle, transfer to another location, or reorder less next cycle. It’s not trying to replace your POS/ERP; it sits on top and focuses narrowly on expiry control and waste reduction. Reporting is intentionally blunt: dollars lost, top offenders, and which supplier/shift/location patterns correlate with waste so managers can actually change behavior.
