ExplainForge

ExplainForge helps scientists, comms teams, and educators convert dense research into clear, accurate public-facing content without losing nuance. Upload a PDF or paste a DOI/arXiv link, then choose an audience (general public, high school, policymakers, journalists) and a format (thread, blog post, 60-second script, slide outline, FAQ). The app generates a draft plus a “traceability” panel that maps each claim to the exact supporting excerpt, figure, or limitation from the paper. It also forces a “What this does NOT show” section and a confidence/uncertainty summary to reduce hype. A lightweight review workflow lets a subject-matter expert approve, edit, and export to CMS/social tools. This is an AI + traditional web app, with optional mobile companion for approvals and quick posting. Realistically, success depends on trust: the product must be strict about citations and limitations, not just fluent text.
