FacetForge

FacetForge is a web app (traditional + AI) that helps teams convert chaotic labels, categories, and filters into a coherent faceted information architecture. You import a CSV of tags/attributes or connect to a CMS/product catalog, and the app clusters terms, flags synonyms, detects mutually exclusive facets, and highlights “junk facets” that create dead-end navigation. It then generates a proposed facet model (facet names, allowed values, rules, and examples) and exports it as JSON Schema/OpenAPI-friendly enums or a CMS-ready taxonomy file. The reality: most orgs don’t have time for a full IA overhaul, so the product focuses on the 80/20—cleaning and stabilizing facets that drive findability and filters. It won’t magically fix bad content, but it will make the structure defensible, measurable, and easier to maintain with lightweight governance checks.
