FactMargin
FactMargin is a mobile + web AI companion for documentary and docuseries viewers that overlays claim-level context without trying to “debunk everything.” While you watch, you can search the episode and jump to key moments, then view a structured list of claims (who said it, what was asserted, and what evidence exists). The app pulls supporting and opposing sources, shows confidence levels, and highlights common documentary techniques (selective editing, reenactments, missing context) so viewers understand persuasion tactics. It also lets users save “receipts” (clips + citations) into shareable cards for discussions, classrooms, or social posts. This is not a streaming app and doesn’t require partnerships to be useful: it works from episode titles, timestamps, and user-submitted moments. The goal is to make documentary viewing smarter and less misleading—without killing the entertainment value.
